Fixing Three-Handle Tub & Shower Faucets

Two handles are used for hot and cold water while the third middle handle is called a diverter; this directs water to either the tub or the shower. In case the water flow is slow, or if the water runs out of the tub when its supposed to direct to shower, then the diverter needs repair or replacement

Diverter valve is removed from the escutcheon. The bonnet nut is removed as well as excess mortar surrounding it. The brass stem screw is replaced and the spindle and retaining nut are cleaned off of sediments and lime build up using a small wire brush dipped in vinegar. All parts are coated with heatproof grease and is assembled back together.

Shower Stall Installation

It can be quite inexpensive to install a new shower stall in your bathroom using prefabricated panels and a plastic base. The other approach is using custom tile for durability, this is a more time consuming approach but will yield better results over time.
